THE TOUR PROGRAMME
22 DAYS / 21 NIGHTS
Day 01: Arrival in Antananarivo / Antsirabe
- Arrival, reception at Ivato airport.
- A quick detour through the agency for administrative settlement.
- Possibility to have a lunch at Ambatolampy, then departure for Antsirabe.
- Travel through a typical landscape of highland with brick or red laterite houses and thatched roof.
- Dinner and night at the hotel
Day 02: Antsirabe /Morondava
- Departure in the morning after breakfast.
- Route to the capital city of Menabe: A fascinating hinterland with large savannahs, majestic baobabs unique in the world and nature reserves.
- Lunch along the way.
- Arrival in the evening, registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 03: Morondava /Bekopaka
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to Bekopaka, the village which gives access to the Tsingy.
- Ferry crossing of the Tsiribihina River.
- Lunch at Belo on the Tsiribihina River.
- After lunch, route to Bekopaka.
- Ferry crossing of the Manambolo River.
- Night at the hotel.
Day 04: Bekopaka Little Tsingy and the Manambolo Gorge
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to the Bemaraha National Park, which is an unusual site, made of limestone peaks of more than 30 meters high (A UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- One day spent there to contemplate the magic of the Tsingy genesis.
- Canoe ride along the Manambolo Gorge.
- Lunch or picnic lunch.
- Return to Bekopaka at the end of the day.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 05: Bekopaka / the Great Tsingy
- Breakfast.
- Continuance of the Tsingy visit.
- Walk through the famous sharp rocks of the Tsingy unique in the world.
- Numerous and spectacular panoramas.
- Watching of the Ankoay osprey.
- Lunch or picnic lunch.
- Return to the village after visit.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 06: Bekopaka / Morondava
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Route to the capital city of Menabe.
- Lunch at Belo Tsiribihina.
- Route to the famous walk of baobabs.
- Visit of the baobabs in love.
- Pictures and sunset.
- Route to Morondava.
- Registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 07: Morondava /Belo sur Mer
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to Belo sur Mer, a fishing village Vezo (about 80 km in the south of Morondava).
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 08: Belo sur Mer / Manja
- After breakfast, departure to Manja.
- Lunch along the way.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 09: Manja /Morombe
- After breakfast, departure to Morombe early in the morning.
- Lunch along the way.
- Registering and night at the hotel.
Day 10: Morombe /Ifaty
- After breakfast, departure to Ifaty early in the morning.
- The Lagoon Ranobe offers an exceptional site for fishing and underwater discovery. Many clubs are equipped for diving.
- Lunch.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 11: Ifaty /Anakao (10-hour drive)
- Departure at 7am from Ifaty to the pier of Tuléar for transfer to Anakao.
- Transfer by boat.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 12: Anakao/Ranohira (departure early because of the long journey)
- After breakfast, departure to Tsimanampetsotsa Park.
- After the visit, departure to Ranohira, lunch or picnic lunch.
- Crossing gates of the South and complete change of landscape.
- Crossing the plateau Horombe, vast plains frequented by herds of zebu.
- Arrival in early evening at Ranohira.
- Night at the hotel.
Day 13: Isalo
- A day trip of exploring this plateau surrounded by canyons, waterfalls, natural pools and rocky peaks created by rain and wind. At sunset, the beauty and magic of this place will appear all the more.
- Return to the hotel after the visit.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 14: Ranohira / Andringitra
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Route to Andringitra, the village situated at the foot of the massif.
- Walk through the rice terraces of the region of Betsileo, and then walk close to the sacred falls, before rising to the first base camp at 2050 meters.
- Route to Andringitra.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 15: Andringitra
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Different hikes: Meeting with the local population, visiting villages. At the foot of the cliff, the sacred forest Tsaranoro, to observe lemurs: the maki catta.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Night at the hotel.
Day 16: Andringitra /Ambalavao /Fianarantsoa
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Route to Betsileo capital.
- Stop at Ambalavao and visit of the town.
- Arrival and registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 17: Fianarantsoa /Manakara
- Earlier after breakfast, departure to the train station in order to take the train of legend: scenic route with many bridges and tunnels.
- Discovery of local life.
- Crossing the magnificent landscapes.
- Picnic lunch on board.
- Do not hesitate to buy local fruits on your way.
- Do not move away too far from the train in the villages and pay attention to the whistle of the head of the station for the departure of the train.
- Arrival in late afternoon at Manakara where the driver will welcome you and drive you to your hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day18: Manakara: trip to the Pangalanes Canal
- A day trip on the Pangalanes Canal: Transfer to the pier, departure for a round-trip of 50 km on the north of the Pangalanes Canal aboard a boat. You will discover a beautiful landscape with an incessant ballet of rowing boats carrying fruits, freight or passengers.
- First stop at the “Plantation”, an agro-tourism complex where you can observe the culture, labour and processing of spices, according to the season of ancestral gestures like peeling the bark of cinnamon or vanilla flower fertilization.
- Opportunity to purchase spices of quality on the site.
- Around noon, arrival to destination where you will find a beautiful strip of sand between the canal and the Indian Ocean.
- Picnic lunch in the shade of a traditional private shelter.
- Departure for the return journey, stop at Ampadimanana, a traditional village between the canal and the ocean, with the discovery of crafts: blacksmithing, weaving, braiding, fishing, building huts and canoes, etc.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 19: Manakara / Ranomafana
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Route to Ranomafana which is situated between Betsileo and Tanala (those of the forest). It owes its name to a hot spring ferruginous whose benefits have been recognized for a long time, especially for rheumatic.
- Lunch.
- Registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 20: Ranomafana / Ambositra
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Tour of Ranomafana Park.
- Departure for Ambositra, the Capital city of Malagasy Arts.
- Tour of Zafimaniry art workshops: sculpture and marquetry (Bags, wallets, Bozaka and raffia baskets, inlays, statuettes).
- Lunch
- Registering at the hotel.
- Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 21: Ambositra / Antananarivo
- After breakfast, tour of the Ambositra town.
- Route to Antananarivo, lunch along the way.
- Tour of the largest craft market for the purchase of souvenirs of the country.
- Farewell dinner in a restaurant specialized in Vanilla dishes.
- Night at the hotel.
Day 22: Departure from Antananarivo
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
- End of our provision of service

Please advise if you can offer holiday package for Madagascar including sightseeing and beach relax for:
Start: 29-31 December for +/_10 days
Based on 3*-4* hotels, HB
4 adults + 2 youth (12yrs, 16yrs) + 2 kids (8yrs, 9yrs)
Please note – clients can book air tickets to / from Antananarivo and other domestic flights if necessary.

Nous arrivons à Madagascar à partir du 18 juillet 2010 (3 adultes). Le tour Sud Mada n° 4 est-il possible, à quelles dates et à quelles conditions ?

nous souhaitons faire en 4x4 avec chauffeur la cote entre tuléar et fort dauphin
(anakao,ambalo,itampolo;lavonono ,faux cap ou par ampanihy si impossible par
cote ente itampolo et lavonono)
nous sommes 5 et souhaitons faire ce voyage du 22 avril au 28 avril
